Booking Conditions

Please read these Booking Conditions carefully as they incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by the Australian Holiday Centre. We act as an agent in promoting and selling holiday packages but we are not a transport, tour, event or accommodation provider. It is therefore important for you to obtain and read the service provider’s terms and conditions applicable to the products in your package, and make sure you are aware of any exclusions or limitations of liability imposed by the service provider some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage.

Deposit: A deposit of $1000 per person is required immediately upon confirmation of your booking. If your deposit is not received by the due date, we will cancel your reservations.

Final Payment: Final payment is required at least 60 days prior to departure, or as specified for special deals, sale fares etc. Your confirmation letter will clearly indicate the due date for final payment. If for any reason your balance is not received by us, by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply the appropriate cancellation charges. Bookings made within 60 days of departure date will only be accepted if full payment is received at the time of reservation.

Amendments: Alterations to your booking incur a fee of $50 per person plus any additional charges imposed by the relevant Service Provider.

Cancellations: If you cancel or terminate your holiday the following cancellation fees will apply:

Prior to final payment: No refund of deposit paid

After final payment: No refund of deposit paid plus all additional fees imposed by the Service Providers for cancelled accommodation, touring, air and rail travel (which may be up to 100% of monies paid). An example of additional Service Provider fees is - Great Southern Railway: More than 60 days prior to departure = 10%, Between 7-60 days prior to departure = 50%, Less than 7 days prior to departure and after departure = No refund.

Availability: All holidays are subject to availability and at certain times of the year, surcharges may apply that are outside our control. The cost of airfares fluctuate greatly, therefore we will purchase your airfares when your deposit is received. Should the budgeted airfare not be available at that time then a surcharge may also be applicable. Your consultant will advise of any surcharges at the time of booking.

Credit Card Fees: A surcharge of 2% is charged for all payments by Visa or Mastercard. We do not accept American Express or Diners Card.

Travel Insurance: It is recommended that at the time of booking, you consider purchasing a travel insurance policy of your choice to cover loss, cancellation charges, damage, illness, injury or other unexpected circumstances.
