WED, THU & FRI Sydney to Perth

This afternoon board the mighty Indian Pacific at 2.55pm for your journey to Perth crossing some of Australia’s most remote countryside including the incredible Nullarbor Plain. 

Overnight: Indian Pacific, 3 nights

SAT Perth
Arrive into Perth at 9.10am and make your way to your accommodation. Overnight: Goodearth Hotel or similar, 4 nights

SUN Perth
This morning you will be collected for your half day Perth and Fremantle Tour. Highlights will include Kings Park Botanic Gardens, Cottesloe Beach and the historical port of Fremantle, before cruising back to Perth along the Swan River.

MON & TUES Perth (L)
Over the next two days, choose  one of the following tours:

Option 1: Margaret River, Eagles, Caves, Wine and Cape Leeuwin. Highlights include morning tea at Dawesville Channel, wine tasting at Xanadu Winery, picnic lunch at the Eagle Heritage Raptor Centre, guided tour of Mammoth Cave, a stop at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and Busselton Jetty

Option 2: Wave Rock, York, Wildflowers and Aboriginal culture. Highlights include morning tea at York, lunch at the Wildflower Shop in Hyden, see the spectacular Wave Rock and Gnamma Holes, visit The Humps and Mulka’s Cave, a stop at Babakin. Wildflower viewing stops between Sept & Nov.

WED Perth to Broome
Today you will fly to Broome. On arrival make your way to your accommodation and you can begin adjusting to the relaxing pace of ‘Broome time’. Overnight: Mangrove Resort Hotel or similar, 4 nights
 
THU Broome
This morning is at your leisure before joining your afternoon Broome Sights tour. Highlights will include a visit to the Kanagae Estate to see the mango orchards and sample local produce, enjoy local beer tastings and a gourmet platter at Matso’s Boutique Brewery, learn about Broome’s pearling past at the Japanese cemetery and sample traditional bush tucker at Minyirr Park. Your afternoon will conclude on Cable Beach whilst enjoying the spectacular sunset.

FRI & SAT Broome
Over the next two days you will have time to explore Broome for yourself or take one of the many optional tours to travel further afield.

SUN Broome to Darwin
Today you will make your own way to Broome airport for your flight to Darwin. On arrival make your way to your accommodation and the rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight: Darwin Central Hotel or similar, 3 nights

MON Darwin
This morning is at your leisure, before joining an afternoon City Sights Tour of Darwin. Highlights will include the Chinese Temple, Botanical Gardens, East Point Military Precinct, the Stokes Hill Wharf area and the Mooring Basin.

TUES Darwin
Over the next two days, choose one of the following tours:

Option 1: Kakadu, Nourlangie and Yellow Water cruise tour. Highlights will include the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, a visit to the Warradjan Cultural Centre, a guided cruise on Yellow Water billabong to see crocodiles and other native wildlife, view the Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock and enjoy views over the floodplains at Window on the Wetland.

Option 2: Litchfield National Park tour. Highlights will include the rocky Tabletop Range, the wonders of Litchfield National Park, view the fascinating magnetic termite mounds, visit spectacular Tolmer Falls, time at Wangi Falls for a swim or nature walk and see the double waterfall at Florence Falls.  
 
WED Darwin to Alice Springs
This morning depart at 10am onboard The Legendary Ghan for your overnight journey south to Alice Springs. Settle into your choice of accommodation and enjoy this splendid hotel on wheels. On arrival into Katherine there will be time to enjoy a cruise on the Katherine Gorge (additional cost). Overnight: The Ghan, 2 nights

THU Alice Springs
This morning arrive into Alice Springs, where you will have time to explore the town. If you would like to extend your stay in Alice Springs, please ask your consultant for details. Reboard The Ghan to continue your journey this afternoon.

FRI Adelaide
Arrive into Adelaide at 12.30pm and you will make your own way to your accommodation. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore this beautiful city. Overnight: Mercure Grosvenor Hotel or similar, 3 nights

SAT Adelaide
Today you will enjoy your half day City Highlights Tour of Adelaide, which will include visits to Glenelg, St Peters Cathedral, the Adelaide Oval, North Terrace, Colonel Lights lookout and the Haigh’s Chocolate Factory.

SUN Adelaide
Today is free to explore the historic city of Adelaide, you may like to add on one of the many optional tours available.

MON Adelaide to Melbourne
This morning you will make your way to Adelaide Parklands Railway Station to board the Overland for  7.40am departure to Melbourne. Arrive Melbourne at 6.50pm. On arrival make your way to your accommodation. Overnight: Quality Batmans Hill or similar, 3 nights

TUES Melbourne
This morning you will be collected for your Melbourne City Sights Tour. Highlights will include the Queen Victoria Markets, Melbourne Town Hall, Captain Cooks Cottage, view the Shrine of Rememberance and the Royal Botanice Gardens. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore Melbourne for yourself.

WED Melbourne 
Today is free to explore the vibrant city of Melbourne, you may choose to add on one of the many optional tours available.

THU Melbourne to Sydney

Depart from Southern Cross Station onboard the XPT at 8.30am for your journey to Sydney in a First Class Seat. You will arrive home at 7.54pm.
