Meet your Tour Host this afternoon at Adelaide Parklands Terminal to check in for the Indian Pacific. Once onboard, settle into your Gold Service Cabin. Tonight, meet your fellow group travellers and enjoy dinner together in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant. Overnight: Indian Pacific, 2 nights (D)

FRI 11 OCT Nullarbor Plain
Today cross the longest stretch of railway in the world - the Nullarbor Plain. Enjoy a stop in Kalgoorlie and join a whistle stop tour to explore the biggest city in the Australian Outback. (BLD)

SAT 12 OCT Perth
Arrive into Perth this morning. On arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel and you have time at leisure this afternoon to start exploring the city. Overnight: Goodearth Hotel Perth, 2 nights (B)

SUN 13 OCT Fremantle
We will join our half day tour of Perth and Fremantle today. Highlights include Kings Park, Cottesloe Beach and free time to explore historical Fremantle before we cruise back to Perth along the Swan River. (BD)

MON 14 OCT Perth to Kalbarri
Following breakfast this morning, we will depart from Perth and head north on Indian Ocean Drive, stopping at the Lobster fishing town of Cervantes for a picnic lunch. We then take a self guided tour of the Lobster Shack followed by a stop at Nambung National Park for a stroll through the iconic Pinnacles and visit the interpretive centre. Overnight: Kalbarri Palm Resort (BLD)

TUE 15 OCT Kalbarri to Monkey Mia
We will spend the morning taking in the coastal gorges of Kalbarri National Park and the stunning view at Hawks Head. We then continue north, stopping for lunch (own expense) before we stop at Shell Beach, a pristine white beach made up of billions of tiny shells. We will also view the Stromataolites before arriving at our Resort. Overnight: Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort (BD)

WED 16 OCT Monkey Mia to Geraldton
This morning we have the opportunity to meet the world famous Monkey Mia Dolphins, including an interpretive talk. We then begin our journey back South to Geraldton via the Wildflower region of Mullewa. Overnight: Broadwater Resort, Geraldton (BD)

THU 17 OCT Geraldton to Perth
Following breakfast, we will make our way back into Perth mid afternoon. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight: Goodearth Hotel Perth (B)

FRI 18 OCT Perth to Margaret River
Today we journey south to experience Margaret River, the Mammoth Cave, Wine Tasting at Leeuwin Estate, the Cheese Company and the Busselton Jetty. Overnight: Australis Margaret River (BLD)

FRI 19 OCT Margaret River to Pemberton
Following breakfast we set off to further explore. We will visit Prevelley Beach and Boranup Forest, stop for lunch (own expense), then onto Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, Augusta, Gloucester and Beedelup Falls. Overnight: Best Western Pemberton (BD)

SAT 20 OCT Pemberton to Albany
Today we will see the Ancient Empire, explore the Valley of the Giants on a Tree Top Walk and we will enjoy a Wilderness Luncheon Cruise on Nornalup Inlet. Overnight: Ace Motor Inn Albany (BD)

SUN 21 OCT Albany to Wave Rock
We set off for another day of touring including visits to the Stirling National Park, Bluff Knoll before discovering the magnificent Wave Rock. Overnight: Hyden Motel (BD)

MON 22 OCT Hyden to Perth
After breakfast, we will make our way back into Perth City arriving at lunch time. The remaining of the day is for you to enjoy or relax at our hotel. Overnight: Goodearth Hotel Perth, 2 nights (BLD)

TUE 23 OCT Perth
Today is our final day in Perth to enjoy at leisure. There are optional tours available including Rottnest Island. Tonight, we join together for our farewell dinner. (BD)

WED 24 OCT Perth to Adelaide
Today we will be transferred to the Perth Airport where we will bid farewell to our fellow passengers and return home to Adelaide. (B)

SHIRLEY TAMM
is a well known travel identity and tour host who has been working in the travel industry for over 30 years. Most recently Shirley has worked for Great Southern Rail (The Ghan, Indian Pacific and the Overland) promoting the romance and enjoyment of rail travel on these iconic trains. Prior to this, she was State Manager for 14 years, with well known international coach company, Trafalgar Tours. Shirley easily develops relationships with people of all ages and has enjoyed escorting numerous groups of travelers both within Australia and overseas. With her passion for travel and wealth of knowledge you can be assured of a worry free and truly memorable holiday experience.

GENERAL INFO & BOOKING CONDITIONS 

Deposit: A deposit of $1000 per passenger is required at the time of booking.


 

 

Full Payment for your holiday will be due 65 days prior to departure. Bookings made within 65 days of departure, will require immediate payment. Credit card payment will incur a surcharge of 1% for visa and mastercard payments. Pensioner prices are valid for holders of either centrelink pensioner cards or commonwealth senior health care cards. Senior prices are valid for holders of great southern railway senior cards. Application forms are available from your consultant for this card.

Travel Insurance is recommended to cover the cost of cancellation due to illness, loss of luggage, travel delay etc.

Minimum Tour Numbers are required for this tour to run at the advertised cost. If 20 passengers have not booked by 65 days prior to departure then it may be necessary to either cancel the tour or offer similar arrangements on an unescorted basis.

Hosting will occur from the state exceeding 15 passengers. Should the number be below this then hosting will begin from Adelaide.

Share Stranger may be available if there is another traveller of the same sex who also wants to share with a stranger, however should no match be available the single price will apply.

Cancellation fees will apply. Once bookings are confirmed a cancellation fee of $1000 per passenger will apply. Cancellation within 65 days of departure will incur a fee of $1000 per passenger plus any additional charges imposed by principals involved in operating the tour. Therefore, the cancellation fee may be up to the total cost. No itemisation of tour costs can be given.

Refunds are not available should you not utilise any sightseeing tours, accommodation, meals or other service listed as an inclusion in this tour.

Responsibility: The Australian Holiday Centre is the tour organiser. We act only as an agent for passengers in the making of arrangements with carriers, hoteliers and others for the tour. As a result we cannot accept liability for any act or omission whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise of those suppliers. We do not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule or any other events which are beyond our control.

Limit of Liability: We always do our best to make sure your arrangements are satisfactory, however, most of the goods and services offered in the featured packages are supplied by third parties. We act only as an agent for those suppliers. To the extent permitted by law, the Australian Holiday Centre excludes all liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to physical and psychological injury, and loss or damage to property of whatever nature) that may arise in any way in connection with the offer of goods or services by us or any third parties, or in connection with the supply of such goods or services. If the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth) or any similar law implies a condition or warranty that cannot be excluded, the liability of Australian Holiday Centre for a breach of the condition or warranty will be limited as determined by us in its absolute discretion to:
(a) In the case of goods any one or more of the following:
• the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; or
• the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; and

(b) In the case of services:
• the supplying of the services again; or
• The payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

Events Beyond Our Control: We do not accept any liability of whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond its control including, but not limited to, war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action.
